Korea is one of the world’s leading countries in R&D investment as a share of GDP, with continued growth in biotechnology R&D. The Korean government has also announced its ambition to position Korea among the world’s top five biotechnology powerhouses by 2035, supported by national-level initiatives including the establishment of the National Biotechnology Committee.

Through this session, participants will gain insights into Korea’s biotech market, business opportunities, regulatory considerations, and bilateral cooperation programs between Spain and Korea.
